1936 Cadillac V16 Aerodynamic Coupe by Fleetwood
The GM (General Motors) luxury car division had an ambition to produce the finest automobiles in the world. The Cadillac Fleetwood is built to participate in the 1933 World Fair in Chigago. It is also said to be GM’s first concept car and is one of the most influential cars of the era. The car was powered by the world’s first V6 engine for passenger car use. The car had a 154 inch wheelbase and a sloping tail, conveying the impression of speed and power. The wiring for this car is mounted in a perfect manner, well hidden and carefully concealed.

1935 Chrysler Imperial Model Airflow Coupe
When the Airflow model was first released in 1934, Chrysler corporation of Detroit was only 10 years old. The man behind the direction goes by the name of Carl Breer. His inspiration came from military airplanes, revolving resistance and air pressure. It is said that this model was a brilliant model that was simply too modern for its time. According to http://www.rmsothebys.com, it is only 75 years later that these cars have gained the recognition they well deserve. To top it off, the quality was such that it won an AACA First Senior badge and was chosen as the cover car for The Hemmings Book of Prewar Chryslers.

1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic
This is one of the most elusive and expensive classic cars around. It is light-weight, powerful and has an influential design. Many believe this is the first supercar every made. The car became a star attraction at the Bonhams Retromobile auction in Paris, going for $4.4 million in 2009. “The new low-slung chassis and distinctive vee-shaped radiator design of the 57S was a gift to the stylist and the Jean Bugatti-influenced Atalante Coupé styling blended impeccably with the sculpted radiator design” – Autoweek.com

1938 Hispano-Suiza H6C Xenia Coupe
The Hispano Suiza of Spain was one of the greatest European marques. Swiss Engineer, Marc Birkigt started the company in 1904 and his designs resembled race type cars. The sporting nature of Hispano Suiza attracted King Alfonso who bought more than 30 cars during production. Hispano Suiza is best known for its luxury cars and aviation engines. According to www.wired.com, the Xenia was based on the Hispano-Suiza H6 heavily modified with independent suspension designed by driver, pilot and aperitif heir Andre Dubonnet.

1937 Delage D8-120 S Aerodynamic Coupe
The prototype was first proudly exhibited at the 1937 Paris Auto Show. The coupe was created during a turbulent period in the timeline of Delage Marque. The first Delage automobile were built in 1950 by Louis Delage and partner Augustin Legros. The Delage company splurged a great amount of money into developing advanced race cars after their wins at numerous high profile contests. Aerodynamic car expert, Richard said, “It’s like a GM dream car of its day. The Delage was a joy to look at, and as beautiful as the Alfas on the show field were, this captured peoples’ hearts.”
