Can you tell us a little about your background and why did you choose TOC?

I am here because I really love the automotive engine. I love to modify them and I want to study for this knowledge and for my future to become a technician. Maybe one day I can open my own workshop and business. I chose TOC and the Automotive course because this place give me a very clear education and the teachers also are very nice.

Why did you volunteer to work with the Caterham motorsport experience?

I did Caterham last year to learn something new and then to increase my knowledge because I very much love cars, racing cars, supercars. It’s a boys dream to have a supercar, we love speed!

So you are interested in supercars as well? The technology of racing cars is also developed into high performance cars as well, so you have Ferrari with road cars and racing cars, you have also McLaren, Audi and Lamborghini as well. What were your memories of the motorsport experience and what did you enjoy most when you went to the racing track with Caterham?

It was very enjoyable and I learnt a lot.

What important lessons did you learn from going to the track?

Teamwork! Teamwork was very important because we all had to work together to check everything for the performance. One important lesson I learnt was about the brake system. The brakes on one of the Caterham cars was not good and the guys told me to change the brake pads, which was a very good experience and memory.

How do you think that the motorsport experience may benefit you in the future? A supercar is like a racing car its just one is designed for the road and the other is for the track, but they are very similar in mentality.

To be able to fix any car, whatever the brand. There are many brands and their engines and technology are so different. It is the sophisticated technology on road cars that interests me.

What are your career aspirations? If you looked into the future 10 to 20 years, what would you like to be doing?

After 10 to 20 years I would like to have my own workshop for sports cars, high performance cars, and supercars.

You are in your second year and coming to the end of your education with TOC, what is the next step on your career path?

Maybe I will go to a workshop or service centre to gain more experience. Once you have experience, you can do a lot and also the customer will trust you.

Thank you very much and good luck.
