We all love to sit back, relax and enjoy watching a movie or two during our free time. Different movies attract different target audience be it; Romance, action, comedy and the list goes on. Here are some movies that car lover might love and enjoy!
The Fast & the Furious
When the movie first came out, the hype was real! Launched in 2001, the movie primarily focused on the Japanese racing scene where casts Dominic Toretto and Brian O’Connor both got hooked in this new racing world. If you have not watched it, Brian is an undercover officer of the LAPD. Following up with this in 2003, was 2 Fast 2 Furious, continuing with The Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift in 2006. No, we’re not done! In 2009, Fast & Furious returned, then moving on to Fast Five in 2011. Fast & Furious 6 then released in 2013, following with Furious 7 in 2015. Finally, would be the Fate of the Furious in 2017. Unfortunately, our favourite character, Brian O’Connor (Paul Walker) passed away in 2013 due to a car crash.
Need for Speed
Released in 2014, the title of the movie caught our attention. Why? Well, because if you are a gamer, the Need for Speed game would ring a bell. Actor, Tobey Marshall was framed by an ex-partner for a murder he did not commit. He was a struggling custom-car builder and a street-racer. Fresh out of prison, he reacquires the fastest car his workshop ever built and sold. Above all, it all boils down to revenge.
Baby Driver
This has got to be one of the best action-car movie of the year 2017! Played by Ansel Elgort, also known as Baby, the movie had a 93% rating from Rotten Tomatoes. Not only you get to watch crazy car stunts, but you also get to enjoy different oldies soundtracks. Serving to the crime boss as a driver while planning robberies, he thinks he was free to go after the plan. However, the boss comes back to him again for another job.
Cars
Cars is a computer-animated comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. Released in 2006, the movie is loved by both adult and kids. Cars 2 was released in 2011. The main car character, also known as Lighting McQueen returns home to Radiator Springs to enjoy some quiet time. However, Italian Formula Race Car, Francesco, challenges McQueen to the newly created World Grand Prix.
Initial D
Now, this you may have heard. Slide off from the usual American movies, here’s Initial D from Hong Kong. This film is the adaptation of the Japanese Initial D Manga and Anime Series. Main Character, played by Taiwanese Popstar, Jay Chou, the story is about a tofu-delivery driver, trained to master the routes of Mt.Akina (Mt.Haruna in real life). The story transforms the delivery boy into a “toge” driver in his father’s Toyota AE86 . Toge is a form or style of driving.
