WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY UP TO NOW?
I am currently a Technician in a local workshop called PTS Auto Mechanic. As simple as it may sound, I actually enjoy what I’m doing. I mainly repair and modify cars especially Japanese car models.
HOW HAS TOC HELPED YOU?
I gained knowledge about cars and the industry as a whole. In that way, it helped me boost my confidence in getting a job.
THOUGHTS ON THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY
Technology never sleeps in the automotive world. It is like a never-ending process. That also means, we need to keep ourselves updated and to learn new ways of diagnosing and repairing newer cars. That to me, is an exciting challenge.
CURRENT HOBBIES
I love night drives especially to “Genting”. This helps keep my stress level on the low and makes me calm.
ADVICE FOR STUDENTS WHO WANTS TO PURSUE AN EDUCATION IN THE AUTOMTOIVE INDUSTRY
I would say go for it if this is really what you want. Do not be afraid to get your hands dirty and practice on car repairs because you will obtain a lot of experience and knowledge from it.
FAVOURITE CARS AND WHY
I do not have a favourite car but I do love cars with high torque.
WHAT ARE YOUR FUTURE PLANS?
I would like to open my own workshop in the new future. However, I will learn as much as possible from my current job before pursuing that dream.
