WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY UP TO NOW?

I am currently a Manager at Car Checks (Pvt) Ltd and have been so far for the last four years. However, I will be moving on to a new venture in the year 2020.

HOW HAS TOC CHANGED YOUR LIFE?

Studying at TOC has been a life-changing experience. I have gained so much from learning at TOC; not only in the classroom but also from my on-the-job (OJT) training. I am thankful to have gained those skills and knowledge acquired from my studies and apply it during my OJT. This whole experience enabled me to go further into the automotive career.

THOUGHTS ON THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

In my opinion, the automotive landscape changes every day. Keeping up with the changes is definitely a challenge. On a positive note, it is refreshing to see that that the automotive industry is trying to shift focus it’s on “being green” and eco-friendly. Although still a long way to go, I believe it will be a favourable outcome one day. To be honest, I am an old-school petrol-head, so I do miss the good ol’ days when cars made a good sound and gears that had to be changed by the driver.

CURRENT HOBBIES

I am currently interested in automotive photography and automotive detailing!

ADVICE FOR STUDENTS WHO WANTS TO PURSUE AN EDUCATION IN AUTOMOTIVE

My advice would be; if anyone wants to get into this industry, do make sure this is the field that you want to get into. Ultimately, do what you love because that is the only way to be happy in life, be it in studies or work.

FAV CARS AND WHY

My list of favourite cars is as long as the Nile River (pun intended).  However, to name a few; Mazda FD RX7, Alfa Romeo GTV, Peugeot 205GTi and Classic Mini.
