The Garage KL

This place is described as a petrolhead’s haven! You got that right. Located in Ampang Kuala Lumpur, the Garage KL is the brainchild of Tengku Azman. The built-parts are from stacks of containers with a unique landscape. This is the place where you can eat, shop, get a haircut, feast your eyes on vehicles and even send your car to the workshop! Talk about all in one. Not forgetting to mention, it is an “insta-grammable” spot as well. Besides all the activities, Garage KL also rents out event spaces for different types of functions.

The Gasket Alley

The ambience and design of this place is rugged and urban. This is the place for petrol-heads, custom motorcycles, dining and even getting a tattoo! In the evening, the place is filled with after-office hour peeps getting into the watering hole (If you get what I mean). If you are familiar with the famous “Tiffin & Riuh event 2019”, here’s where it is at. The Gasket Alley is a curated space founded by a group of friends in 2015. You can even test-ride the two oldest motorcycle brands at Moto Guzzi and Harley Davidson showroom.

Garage 51

The Bandar Sunway area in Petaling Jaya, Selangor is no stranger towards the automotive scene. The area is filled with car workshops and detailing centres. This is the area where gear-heads come for car tuning, modification and even just taking a look at supercars.  Garage 51 café sits amongst these workshops and there’s even a Red Beetle car for patrons to take picture with! Inspired by the “Garage” concept, the owners of Garage 51 also owns 2 other cafés; Coffee Société & Underground Société. This is the place to enjoy a good cup of coffee because they have their very own blend of composed coffee beans. There’s even an oil tank that have been converted into a sofa. How cool is that?

Cars Kitchen @ Eurowerks Sdn.Bhd

Wouldn’t it be nice to send your “baby” aka car to a detailing centre, while chilling in a restaurant? Cars Kitchen is located under the same roof as Eurowerks specialist detailing centre. They also specializes in maintenance and repairing of cars.  So, while getting your car fixed or cleaned, you can head over to Cars Kitchen for a drink or even dine in. The restaurant/café is also a minimalist event space that serves western and local dishes. If you don’t like indoors, there’s also an al-fresco dining space. Located in an industrial area of SS13, Subang Jaya, here’s the place for you to chill, dine and get your car groomed.

Avenue Café Workshop

For those in the East Malaysia, Avenue Café workshop is located right opposite of Avenue Carwash! Do you often get bored while waiting for your car to be done? Well, here, you can pop over at the café opposite while waiting for your car to be done. So, no more excuses to wash your car right? On the other hand, they serve delicious western food too. The venue is also an event space for birthdays, corporate functions and private gatherings.
