When I changed careers from pharmaceuticals to become an education counselor, it raised quite a few eyebrows. People started to question me. In November 2015, I was on the back foot with an alarmingly low student recruitment. The numbers were not in my favour.

But I did not doubt myself. I never once gave in. I kept pushing. I knew that I had the support of my loved ones, team members and boss. I had nothing to lose. Few months down the road, I got the highest student requirement for April 2016. It was my single most memorable achievement to date. I would never have done it without the support I received from the special people who surround me daily.
