New TOC Spokesperson Zen Low Fires Up TOC Students

It was an auspicious day for TOC, unveiling its new spokesperson – Zen Low, to students at its most recent intake during orientation. Zen Low is no stranger in the automotive industry with impressive stints throughout his career at Jetski, Go-kart, Formula Vauxhall Single Seater, GT Sprint and Endurance racing to his most recent spell at the prestigious Lamborgini Blancpain Super Trofeo series.

Taking the honour of inspiring up-and-comings in the automotive industry, Zen Low shared his experience and his journey from a young lad who started with amateur go-kart racing to the internationally recognized professional racer that he is today.

Starting at the tender age of 17, Zen Low slowly moved up the ranks in the racing scene. “It took me 29 years to get to where I am today. Motorsports is a long journey,” remarked Zen. “Motorsports is very expensive…. It costs millions.” Zen then explained that he had to work just like everyone else, going back and forth between working and saving money, so that he can race and do the thing he loves.

Zen Low also encouraged the students to “Never give up” and to “Keep dreaming”, emphasizing that “Skills can be honed, knowledge can be learned… but passion is limitless. You will be surprise how powerful it is, if you believe in yourself…”

He then moved on and shared his experiences on a typical day in his “office” (race car), pulsating moments on the track, professional racing tips, his racing team, career highlights and his beautiful and supportive family.

Skills can be honed, knowledge can be learned… but passion is limitless.

Zen Low topped off the day with a memorable Q&A session, introduced his eye-catching Nissan Skyline GTR and posed for pictures with students who were all excited to start their automotive journey at TOC – the leading college in automotive and motorsports education.
