TOC and Toyo Lubrication sign MoU

PETALING JAYA: The Otomotif College (TOC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Toyo Lubrication (M) Sdn Bhd that will allow its students and motorsport team to utilise Toyo lubricants, among others.

The MoU is a three-year sponsorship deal worth RM500,000, which will see the lubrication company provide its complete range of products from engine oil, degreaser, coolant, greases, gear oil, transmission, brake and power steering fluids to be used at TOC’s training workshops.

The sponsorship also includes new equipment for TOC’s training workshops, including a transparent engine simulator, coolant and brake fluid tester and lubricant bay equipment such as engine oil flushing machine, oil collector and washing bay.

In addition, TOC’s Motorsport Team will be supplied with Toyo Lubrication’s high performance engine and gear oils, high temperature constant velocity joint and wheel bearing greases, brake fluids and engine coolant.

The team utilised Toyo Lubrication’s Titanium 8000 15W-40 semi-synthetic oil for its Proton Satria Neo R3 during last year’s Sepang 1,000KM (S1K) Endurance Race, and managed to finish seventh – the team’s best ever result.

Toyo Lubrication is the first grease and lubricant manufacturer in Malaysia to be certified by the United States-based National Lubricating Grease Institute (NLGI) and has been contract-manufacturing lubricants and greases for established international brands since 1997.
