The university is based in the town of Hatfield, renowned for its links with the aerospace industry. Located on two sites, the university offers excellent facilities for sport, 24/7 learning and stylish undergraduate accommodation. The campus is lively, safe and friendly, and houses one of the county’s top venues, The Forum.A pool and climbing wall are among the sports facilities. There’s also the Weston auditorium, for arts events, two art galleries and one of the best teaching observatories in the UK.
Good transport links to the rest of the UK. Only 25 minutes by train to London King’s Cross tube and railway station. A frequent university shuttle bus travels between university campuses. The university’s own bus company, Uno, runs a service around Hertfordshire and north London for staff, students and members of the public.
