1. Refusing to be Crushed

The 2014 Ford GT’s frame was made of superplastic and aluminum body panels. Rated 5 stars for safety, the GT’s body was so strong that when subjected to the roof crush test, not only did the roof refuse to be crushed, the roof crushing machine actually broke. Talk about a strong body! Extra fun fact: The interior of the Ford GT is made by the same facility that makes interiors for the Bugatti Veyron.

From Ford to Ferrari – The vintage 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO was so rare because only 39 were ever made. Because of its status as a racer and beauty, it became one of the most valuable cars sold at a public auction. As of 2017, one also took the trophy for the most expensive car ever sold, racking up a pricetag of $52,000,000.

3. Car Horns Beep In What Note?

Here’s a fun fact for you trivia lovers. At least in America, up until the mid-1960s, car horns were tuned to the key of E flat or C. Today, most car horns are tuned to the notes of F sharp or A sharp.

4. Car Made for a Picnic

Did you know that the Honda CRV was made for a picnic? From 1997 to 2006, every Honda CRV came with a standard folding picnic table tucked away under the cargo area. Imagine that you’re driving along and you want a picnic, just pull over, pull it out, and you’re good to go!

5. Most Expensive Parking Space in the World

Try this on for size. Although this record is going to be beaten, as of 2017, the most expensive parking space in the world was sold to a Hong Kong executive. Known for soaring property prices and home to some of the most expensive real estate in the world, this parking space was in the apartment complex of the executive. The amount he paid? A whopping 5.18 MILLION Hong Kong Dollars. At the exchange rate, that’s equivalent to USD 664,000.
